Burr Bits

Burr Bits

Tungsten Carbide burrs can be used on many materials: metals including steel, aluminum and cast iron, all types of wood, acrylics, fiberglass and plastics. When used on soft metals such as gold, platinum and silver, carbide burrs are ideal as they will last a long time with no chipping or breaking

Cylinder Carbide Burrs

Cylinder profile tungsten carbide burrs are one of the most popular shapes. Note: they have parallel sides and no cutting face on the end of the carbide burr. If you need the carbide burr to have a cutting action on the head then we recommend you switch to Shape B – End Cut Cylinder Burrs

Our cylinder carbide burrs are available in both diamond cut and also fluted cut forms to suit your particular application.

Diamond Cut Burrs – for stainless steel, steel, high carbon alloys, titanium, cobalt alloys etc.. and also for hardwoods

Fluted Cut – for plastics and non-ferrous metals such as aluminum and brass and softwoods

Flame Shaped Carbide Burrs

Flame cut profile tungsten carbide burrs. Note: If you need the carbide burr to have a more rounded diameter end cut profile.

Our flame cut carbide burrs are available in diamond cut form to suit your particular application.

Diamond Cut Carbide Burrs – for stainless steel, steel, high carbon alloys, titanium, cobalt alloys etc.. and also for hardwoods.

Cone Shaped Carbide Burrs

Similar to in that they are both a tapering cone however the cone carbide burr tapers directly to a point. Note: If you need the carbide burr to have a more rounded end cut profile then you may wish to look at the Ball nosed cone carbide burrs.

Our cone profile carbide burrs are available in diamond cut forms to suit your particular application.
